Global Management Specialization Graduate: Anish Godhwani

ANISH GODHWANI is a member of the EMBA Class of 2025 and served as both EMBA co-president and commencement speaker. With a tech-focused career spanning over a decade in digital media, gaming and community partnerships, he currently leads as director of North American partnerships at Twitch, where he oversees strategic creator relationships and drives content and revenue growth. His pursuit of the global management specialization stemmed from a desire to deepen his understanding of international markets, cross-cultural leadership and the evolving dynamics of global business.
At Anderson, Godhwani immersed himself in diverse global experiences that profoundly shaped his worldview and leadership perspective. Through the EMBA IBR in Australia, he explored the country’s shift from traditional exports to renewable energy and critical materials, emphasizing the importance of strategic foresight. In Singapore, as part of the tech-driven transformation in the Greater Asia region global immersion course, Godhwani was struck by the country’s geopolitical neutrality and its role as a regional business hub. He admired Singapore’s long-term planning and its collaborative model between government, academia and the private sector — an approach he believes will define the next generation of global economic leaders. His international exchange at Waseda University in Japan offered insights into entertainment business and consumer behavior, particularly the cultural drivers behind merchandising and brand loyalty. In Colombia, visits to innovation hubs like Ruta N and Ayura Eclipse Flowers highlighted the potential of public-private partnerships in emerging markets, reinforcing his belief in Colombia’s growth trajectory in Agritech and SaaS.
As part of his strategic management research capstone, Godhwani assessed the feasibility of introducing the Netherlands-based Floating Farm concept to Los Angeles — an innovative urban farming model aimed at addressing sustainability challenges and improving public health outcomes. Across all his global experiences, Godhwani identified recurring themes: the rise of public-private collaboration, the urgency of sustainability, and the need for tech-enabled, customer-centric business models. These insights have not only broadened his global perspective, but also reinforced his commitment to leading with empathy, innovation and strategic clarity.
Godhwani credits his comprehensive international coursework — particularly the Technology Management course — for equipping him with the essential tools to navigate complex global challenges and drive meaningful impact in his career. As he continues to lead in the digital media space, he remains passionate about building bridges across cultures and industries to help shape a more connected and resilient global economy. He emerges from Anderson both exceptionally equipped and highly motivated to pursue international opportunities that foster cross-cultural value creation, especially at the intersection of innovation, policy and global trade.
