CGM Welcomes International Exchange Students to UCLA Anderson for a Week of Global Learning and Networking
On Sunday, August 10, the Center for Global Management (CGM) in collaboration with the Executive MBA Program, hosted a welcome event for international exchange students from eight partner universities around the world. Held in the Grand Salon of Marion Anderson Hall, the evening brought together more than 40 visiting students who joined UCLA Anderson’s Executive MBA (EMBA), Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) and UCLA-NUS EMBA cohorts for an engaging evening of networking and connection. UCLA Anderson EMBA and FEMBA students who participated in exchange programs during the summer and in 2025 also attended the event.
Each summer, CGM facilitates one-week exchange programs designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. In 2026, approximately 70 UCLA Anderson EMBA and FEMBA students participated in exchanges at nine leading business schools worldwide. During their visit, exchange students joined UCLA Anderson’s elective block, engaging in academic and cultural exchange alongside UCLA Anderson students. The week also included participation from the UCLA-NUS EMBA cohort, creating additional opportunities for cross-program collaboration and global networking.

The program began with an orientation session introducing participants to UCLA, UCLA Anderson and the greater Los Angeles area. Students then enjoyed a guided campus tour alongside members of the UCLA-NUS EMBA program, visiting some of UCLA’s most iconic landmarks and gathering spaces. The evening networking reception provided an opportunity for participants to reconnect with peers from partner institutions while building new relationships with students from schools they may visit in the future.

The week concluded with a celebratory luncheon, marking the end of a rewarding experience filled with learning, cultural exchange, and meaningful global connections.
