When Tiffany Met Richie – A UCLA Love Story
Tiffany Lin ’24 and Richie Chang ’21—A Match Made at Anderson.
When Tiffany was applying to Anderson, Richie was FEMBAassador co-president. Tiffany scheduled a UCLA Coffee Chat to learn about an MBA. What was meant to be a 30-minute call turned into the best five hours of their life.
And the spark was lit!
Through the challenges of pandemic Zoom life, Tiffany and Richie began dating. Richie graduated in 2021 and pivoted his career successfully. Tiffany began her MBA and went on to become FEMBA Council President and also a John Wooden Leadership Fellow. Richie’s surprise proposal happened on the balcony of the Grand Salon at UCLA Anderson, a month before Tiffany’s graduation in 2024.
And on October 11, 2025, surrounded by family, friends, and a sea of UCLA Anderson alumni, Tiffany and Richie were married.
The celebration was filled with Bruin spirit. Professor Terry Kramer attended with his wife and son; Tiffany had served as his Teaching Assistant, and both she and Richie had studied with him on his Global Immersion course in Singapore.

A sea of Anderson support, classmates, faculty and staff, all sharing in the joy of the day. Two of Richie’s classmates shown below also have Drive Time interviews, Maxine Hupy ’21 and Derek Cox ’21.

Tiffany and Richie asked Dylan Stafford to officiate their ceremony—an honor he describes as one of the top five highlights of his 30‑year professional career.

As you celebrate Valentine’s Day, may Tiffany and Richie’s story add a little magic and romance to your day.
