UCLA Anderson Forecast: Is Healthcare Making California Business Sick?
Come join us September 15, 2010 for UCLA Anderson‘s last Economic Outlook Conference of the year. The UCLA Forecast will present its latest quarterly economic projections for the Nation and State. Additionally, the September 2010 conference will focus on health-care reform and how it may affect California Business.
Health-care reform has already become the law of the land—but most of the major provisions will not take effect until 2014. This delay in implementation provides an opportunity for individuals to develop informed expectations of the law’s impact and devise a strategy for how to prepare. While health care reform is sure to touch many aspects of Americans’ lives, the goal of the half-day conference is to foster an enlightened discussion about the likely effects of the new legislation on California business.
