UCLA Anderson MBA alum Kelsey Doorey (Class of 2013) was recently featured in a Forbes article that highlighted how she’s disrupted the wedding industry with her company Vow To Be Chic, which she launched while she was a student at UCLA Anderson. Through the UCLA Anderson Knapp Competition, in conjunction with support through Anderson’s “Business Creation Option” of the Applied Management Research project, Kelsey was able to get the initial funding to start her business.

That realization, combined with her experience working in the bridal and rental industries, led her to pitch a business idea at a venture competition in business school.
